It's been around one month since the demo for Whispers Between Worlds was released!

This project means so much to me, and I'm glad so many people shared their compliments and critiques!

Ideally, the current demo should be around 1/5 of the full game, there are so many stories I want to tell, and so many spirits Yui has yet to meet.

The game was originally made as a school project, but quickly grew into something much more than that!

Here are some of pieces of initial concept art I made, all the way back in September, 2024.





As you can see these don't look very good... but concept art is just supposed to paint a picture of the real thing!

The game was originally developed in Godot, but after some deliberation, we thought it would be better if the game was programmed in RPGMaker, specifically RPGMaker MV!

A good friend of mine created multiple original soundtracks for the game, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out!
Some tracks aren't officially posted anywhere, but the youtube trailer song was composed by them!

I don't know how long this project will take, and I can't guarantee it will even release in the foreseeable future, but it was extremely fun to work on, and I absolutely could not have done it without the support of my family and friends.
